About Beyond the Summit SEL

Hi, I’m Meghan Law, the creator of Beyond the Summit Social Emotional Learning. Beyond the Summit is currently in the works as I pursue my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling. Right now, I’m seeking opportunities within youth programs, community nonprofits, or mental health education settings, spaces where I can continue to design and deliver experiences that build resilience, belonging, and purpose. While going to grad school and working, I am a developing this program rooted in the idea of “Grounded Roots and Limitless Horizons.” This philosophy reflects my belief that growth begins with self-awareness and connection, and from there, individuals can reach new heights in learning, leadership, and life. My goal is to blend my background in youth recreation, education, and social-emotional learning into meaningful programs that empower people and professionals to believe in their ability to "reach for the stars".

About Meghan

I’ve always been drawn to helping people. Whether it was encouraging a shy camper to try something new, supporting a student through a tough day, or guiding a team of staff to lead with confidence and care.

After earning my Bachelor’s in Middle Grades Education from Texas A&M University, I spent several years teaching 4th and 6th grade before moving into youth recreation and program leadership. I eventually became a Recreation Programs Supervisor for the Town of Frisco, Colorado.

Now, as I work toward my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling, I’m developing my dream project, Beyond the Summit Social Emotional Learning. Which is built on the idea that grounded roots create limitless horizons. It’s a reflection of my own journey: learning, leading, and growing toward what’s next while helping others do the same.
